A product shaped around the operating reality
Inflight was designed to make high-quality design feedback easier to request, organize, and act on. The engagement began with discovery sessions around the client's designs, intended user journey, technical possibilities, and edge cases.
The work progressed from application-flow and system modeling into implementation, testing, and iterative product evaluation. The resulting experience connected the web application with design-tool workflows rather than forcing designers to repeatedly export and reorganize their work.
Turning a visual concept into a coherent product journey
The initial designs communicated the direction, but the complete product required decisions about project creation, media capture, feedback routing, expert selection, data storage, and plugin-to-web handoff.
The challenge was not simply reproducing screens. It was defining how the pieces behaved together across devices, browsers, and external design tools.
- Translate designs into complete user and system flows
- Identify edge cases before implementation
- Support human experts and AI critique personas
- Preserve a polished, responsive experience across browsers
From ambiguity to a buildable system
Analyse
Discussed requirements, possible development outcomes, user journeys, and edge cases.
Model
Mapped the application flow, system sequence, and document-oriented data model.
Build
Implemented the web experience, animated project feed, media capture, expert selection, and Figma handoff.
Test
Tested operating systems, screen sizes, browsers, design consistency, and user experience through repeated cycles.
Work that connected product intent with implementation
Animated project feed
A card-deck interaction created with GSAP and supporting libraries to make project navigation feel tactile and deliberate.
Rich project context
Users could record audio or video to explain a project, with supporting project resources managed by the application.
Expert selection
The workflow let users choose between human experts and AI critique personas for different forms of feedback.
Figma integration
A plugin transferred Figma designs directly into the corresponding Inflight project workflow.
